Imagine a world in the universe with buildings identical to those found on Earth--a place where an Earth culture relocated in the future. And these people took a piece of their past, a stone circle, along on their mass exodus. They erected the stones as the monoliths had stood on Earth, and the ring was activated.
 
Not by freak chance.

Whether ring activation was purely scientific or solely magical, the people have yet to descry. But they realized bigger problems awaited. The stone circle was a portal between time and space, accessing Earth history. Although the future's post-mass-exodus trend among cultures is in cultural revival to maintain their roots, the Celts found more than fantastic possiblities in studying their heritage. Humanity wasn't renowned for compassion. Tales of old spoke of greed and hate. Therein, the Time-Guardian Orders were born.

Parts of Time-Guardian history are unappealing. Yet, Brothers and Sisters know their history can never change. Their past makes them who they are...
